Hello world!

It really is true what they say about about WordPress vis a vis Movable Type.

I started a second (er, fifth or whatever) blog on Typepad because they gave me a free year’s subscription for whatever reason. I figured I could use it to post the kind of shit that doesn’t necessarily fit on any of my other blogs. I never got around to using it as much though because it was just such a pain in the ass. I’m gonna go ahead and let it go when it runs out next February.

My blogs as of right now:

• ByronCrawford.com: The Mindset of a Champion – My main blog, on Typepad, since October 2003. I blog about hip-hop as well as various hip-hop-related social disfunction. It’s developed a sizable following and produces a decent-enough income.
• Bol Saturday’s Night Workout – I’ve been blogging about hip-hop for XXL magazine since March of this year. It’s also pays well and has developed quite the following.
• Hearless Bastard – I was a beta tester for Six Apart’s new social network/blogging platform Vox this summer, and I’ve been using it a lot more recently. I use it for posting music videos as well as some of my more memoir-esque writing.
• and this one, which I’ll be using as a catch-all for posts that aren’t interesting enough to fit into any of my other blogs. Sounds like fun, right? I’m also developing a small collection of clips from various other online and print publications. Maybe I’ll post those here as well.
